She holds a certification along with a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) designation and is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), ensuring she remains current with evolving industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices.
 

Throughout her career, Madelyna has developed deep expertise in navigating complex payer systems, including Medicaid, managed care organizations, and commercial insurance programs. Her knowledge extends to working with specialized sectors such as the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), giving her a well-rounded understanding of both clinical and administrative requirements. She is highly skilled in managing the full revenue cycle—from credentialing and claims submission to denial management and compliance—helping providers optimize reimbursement while maintaining strict regulatory adherence.
 

Madelyna is known for her attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to supporting mental health providers in running financially healthy practices. Her goal is to simplify the billing process for clinicians so they can focus on delivering quality patient care, while she ensures accuracy, compliance, and consistent cash flow behind the scenes.
 

Outside of her professional work, Madelyna is the proud owner of LG Axe Throwing, located in downtown Lake Geneva. She enjoys traveling and creating lasting memories with her fiancé and five children, balancing her entrepreneurial spirit with a strong commitment to family life

Credentialing & Attestation Specialist

Brittany Brumm

Brittany is a Credentialing & Contracting  Manager with more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. She holds a degree in Psychology from Richland College in Decatur, Illinois, and brings an extensive background in complex claims management from her time with leading insurance carriers, including State Farm and Progressive. In these roles, she specialized in high-exposure bodily injury claims, developing a strong understanding of insurance operations, regulatory requirements, and how to navigate complex payer systems effectively.

At Knowledgeable Billing, LLC, Brittany leads credentialing and contracting for behavioral health providers across multiple states. She works with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid networks, managing a high-volume portfolio while keeping each process organized, compliant, and moving forward. She is known for her persistence, attention to detail, and ability to navigate payer challenges and delays to keep the credentialing process on track.

Providers value Brittany not only for her industry expertise, but also for her clear, responsive, and solutions-focused approach. She understands how critical timely credentialing and contracting are to a successful practice and takes pride in helping providers navigate the process from application through approval, network participation, and reimbursement readiness.

Angela Cusumano

Angela Cusumano supports behavioral health providers with billing and administrative follow-through, bringing a strong foundation in insurance and claims work from other industries. Before transitioning into medical billing, Angela gained hands-on experience handling claim-related processes in commercial real estate which was experience that strengthened her communication and insurance knowledge. She is detail-oriented, organized, and focused on making the billing process smoother and more consistent for providers. Angela genuinely believes in the value of therapy and is grateful to support therapists in the meaningful work they do every day. Outside of work, Angela enjoys creative projects, hosting small events, traveling, and staying active.

Orlando Esguerra

Orlando has a strong background in healthcare administrative support and remote front-desk operations. He’s experienced in patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, billing support, and collections, and is comfortable working in fast-paced, fully remote environments. Orlando works closely with both patients and providers to keep daily operations running smoothly, always maintaining HIPAA compliance and a patient-first approach.

Outside of work, Orlando enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. He enjoys fly fishing, surfing, and staying active whenever he can, which helps him stay balanced and energized both personally and professionally.

Julie is a medical billing and healthcare operations professional with over eight years of experience supporting revenue cycle processes, including claims submission, insurance verification, coding support, and denial management. She brings a strong understanding of compliance, clinical documentation, and billing workflows, and is known for her attention to detail and reliability in fast-paced healthcare environments.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter, exploring local festivals and making the most of family time.

She specializes in coding, claims management, insurance follow-up, denial resolution, and end-to-end revenue cycle operations, with extensive experience across multiple EMR systems and payer platforms. Shirley is known for her attention to detail, strong compliance knowledge, and ability to streamline billing processes to improve accuracy and reimbursement.

Outside of work, Shirley enjoys expressing her creative side through photography, exploring the outdoors, and traveling to new places. Whether she’s capturing meaningful moments behind the camera or discovering new destinations, she values experiences that inspire creativity, balance, and connection.

Jennifer Stinebrink

Jennifer is a dedicated healthcare administrative professional with experience in medical billing, insurance verification, provider support, and healthcare operations. She specializes in navigating complex insurance benefits, verifying eligibility and coverage, reviewing reimbursement information, and supporting providers with accurate and timely administrative processes.

With hands-on experience working with platforms such as Availity, CAQH, Provider Express, TherapyNotes, and SimplePractice, Jennifer has developed a strong understanding of the administrative side of behavioral healthcare. She is detail-oriented, resourceful, and committed to ensuring that providers and patients receive clear, accurate information.

Jennifer is known for her ability to learn new systems quickly, troubleshoot challenging insurance and billing issues, and adapt to changing requirements. She takes pride in being dependable, organized, and thorough while providing professional support to the healthcare teams she works with.

Outside of work, Jennifer is happily married and an empty nester who loves spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Courtney Boyd, CPC

With more than twenty-five years of experience in healthcare, Courtney brings both extensive industry knowledge and a genuine commitment to supporting providers in her role as an Attestation & Compliance Specialist at Knowledgeable Billing.

Her career has included medical billing and coding, physician practice management, credentialing and contracting, provider enrollment, consulting, revenue cycle operations, and staff training. Courtney’s experience working with a variety of medical specialties, including mental and behavioral health, has given her an appreciation for the unique administrative and compliance challenges different types of providers encounter.

Courtney enjoys taking complicated processes and making them manageable. Whether she is researching a payer requirement, maintaining provider information, addressing credentialing and attestation needs, or helping identify the source of an administrative issue, she approaches her work with curiosity, persistence, and close attention to detail.
